A user is seen in events as "vsphere.local\\machine-{uuid}@127.0.0.1"

Issue/Introduction

When looking through events and logs, a user "vsphere.local\\machine-{uuid}@127.0.0.1", which does does not seem to correllate to any users.

Cause

This is an internal-only system Solution User account that is the central identity for the vCenter Server.

Resolution

This internal-only system account is creating during installation and cannot be altered or interacted with directly. The machine-[UUID] solution user stores the certificate used to identify the vCenter installation to the SSO domain.
