After adding ESXi host to an NSX managed cluster the NSX configuration status displays “Host Disconnected".

Issue/Introduction

• When an ESXi host is added to an NSX-managed cluster, the NSX configuration status displays "Host Disconnected" in the UI. Although the host details show both Controller and Manager connectivity as "Up," the installation progress stalls at "Waiting for connection to Managers." The following specific error is observed when viewing the installation details:

• Heartbeating between NSX management node and host <ESXi-HOST-UUID> is down.
  

• The NSX VIBs are confirmed to be installed on the ESXi host (e.g., via esxcli software vib list | grep nsx).

Resolution

1. Clicking the NSX configuration status Host Disconnected displays Installation Progress.
2. Clicking on Waiting for connection to Managers displays the error.
3. Check the error and then click resolve.
