Navigation from alarm widget takes to OC log in page instead of alarm console

Issue/Introduction

You run DX UIM 23.4.5 and using dashboards in the Operator Console (OC) with widgets that link to the alarm console.  When users click on it it take them to the OC log in page instead of passing over the credentials they are logged in with.

When user click on the button they get taken to the login screen. 

This happens on all dashboard that contain a link to the alarm console

 

The URL you hit contains the credentials as explained in: Pass username and password in standalone dashboard URL in DX UIM OC 

Example: http://XX.XX.XX.XX/dashboard/jsp/standalone.jsp?mode=presentation&dUri=definition/e3c9d20c-c69a-4e26-b25c-e6ddf3b6bb90&user=administrator&password=<example_password> 

 

Environment

DX UIM / OC 23.4.5 (CU5) and OC 23.4.6 (CU6)

Cause

An issue prevents the credentials to be correctly passed over to the OC session.

Resolution

A fix for this will be published as per of DX UIM 23.4.7 (CU7).

 

Workaround: 

Introduce the username and password manually when prompted.
