Issue/Introduction

vCenter 上で以下のイベント/アラームが表示されることがあります。

  • SimpliVity OmniCube physical capacity is dangerously low
  • SimpliVity OmniCube physical capacity is running low

イベントログ(journalログ)に以下の様なログが記録されることがあります。

データストアの使用量には空き領域があり、使用量が逼迫している状況には見えません。

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0

Cause

これらは SimpliVity の物理容量監視により、ノードまたはクラスタの物理容量がしきい値（警告/危険水準）を超過した際に SimpliVity が生成するイベント/アラームです。
vCenter の標準アラームではなく、HPE SimpliVity が定義したもので、vCenter 側に通知されるものです。

Resolution

ストレージベンダーに SimpliVity の物理容量の消費状況を確認します。
