VI Workload Domain creation fails with "Create NSX Transport Node Profile" error in SDDC Manager

Issue/Introduction

Creating a VI Workload Domain (WLD) in SDDC Manager fails with the "Create NSX Transport Node Profile" error.
The following error can be found in the domainmanger.log:

The uplink name Uplink-1 is not found in the [uplink-2, uplink-1] list of UplinkHostSwitchProfile BaseHostSwitchProfile/XXXXXXXX

Environment

SDDC Manager 5.2

Cause

This error occurs when creating a WLD with the same name as the default uplink profile in NSX Manager.
Default uplink profile name: "nsx-default-uplink-hostswitch-profile"

Resolution

When creating a WLD, use a name different from the default uplink profile name in NSX Manager.

 

As workaround you can try to adjust spec file with correct/new uplink name following 

Re-try an existing workflow by modifying the workflow spec file
