Hostd keeps crashing caused by an unstable connection between ESXi and Storage

Issue/Introduction

- The hostd keeps crashing, and ESXi becomes non-responsive.

- Check the LUN's paths and some of them are dead

esxcfg-mpath -b |grep Unavailable

- Checked the logs and found that the number of targets and paths was unstable

grep HBAs hostd.log

Environment

ESXi 8.x 7.x

Resolution

- Please engage the Strage vendor and SAN switch vendor to check from their side.
