Unable to add a WAF exception and getting error "No new exceptions can be added"

Issue/Introduction

Trying to add a WAF exception by following the steps in this document page , may fail with the error reason "No new exceptions can be added".

Resolution

To add the exception, it is instead recommended to add the exception by using the "Recommendations" framework which is available in the same VS log request line. Please refer to this document page for details.
