Issue/Introduction

Load Balancer, Network Egress and Storage costs are showing as unallocated in Kubernetes Cost History Report.

Resolution

Load Balancer, Network Egress and Storage costs will only be allocated using one of the below six categories:
-Cluster name
-Cluster UID
-Namespace Name
-Cloud Account ID
-Cloud Account Name
-Cluster Asset Type

Additional Information

We follow the OpenCost Specification for Load Balancer, Network Egress and Storage cost distribution. Therefore, the below four Kubernetes Cost History Report categories will not have these costs distributed as they are based off CPU and Memory usage:
-Container Name
-Container Image
-Workload Name
-Workload Type

If you are building a perspective, only Namespace and Cluster asset types can allocate Load Balancer, Network Egress and Storage cost:

We recommend you run agent version 1458 or later
