We need to decommission servers that have xFlow/Service Point, Search Server, SDM Application server, and Rasa/VA server installed.
We would like to uninstall those applications. How to do this?
Service Management 17.4
1. Set to Inactive the SDM application server that is being uninstalled from Administration | System | Servers
2. Deinstall the xflow_interface option under Administration | Options Manager | General - Ensure that the NX.env from all servers now have this option uninstalled.
3. Set to Inactive va.bot.nlu.server.url option under Administration | xFlow Interface | General
4. Implement the steps noted in this link to uninstall the applications (start from the latest RU to GA when applicable):
5. Run the Database Cleanup utility and run it for each product/machine you need to uninstall. Steps noted under "Run the Database Cleanup Utility"
6. Remove the .com.zerog.registry.xml files if no other CA Broadcom applications are installed in the server(s). If there are other applications installed on the server, remove references to the uninstalled applications in the XML files.
Default Path of those XML files:
local drive\Program Files (x86)\Zero G Registry\.com.zerog.registry.xml
local drive\Program Files\Zero G Registry\.com.zerog.registry.xml
7. Uninstall the VA Chatbot pre-requisites if necessary (Python, Rust Toolchain, Visual Studio)
8. Remove the VA Chatbot folder (Default name: casmBot)
9. Remove the folders from the uninstalled applications that are no longer required if they still exist. Example: C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow
10. If Service Catalog is installed in the environment, implement: Disable EBL Search Server integration for Requests in Service Catalog
11. Restart environment
