Can't create an ID

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to create an ID with YWRKUSRPRF, but it says it already exists.  There is an id that was created with WRKUSRPRF already.

 

Knowing this, we deleted the WRKUSRPRF ID, but still get an issue with the YWRKUSRPRF command.

Environment

CA 2E v8.7.x

Resolution

I created the id again with the YCRTUSRPRF command, but saw this message:  “Menu MAIN file *LIBL/YDSNMNU member YDSNMNU does not exist”  It then said that the ID was created. I did a refresh of the YWRKUSRPRF and the ID now shows.  I also refreshed WRKUSRPRF and it shows.

Additional Information

That YDSNMNU issue is they set the initial program as YINLPGM and menu also attached to that user profile but the menu was not created. They can create menu by using the YWRKMNU so that the initial program associated with user profile YINLPGM will load that menu when the user login. If they do not want any menu and want only IBMi main menu then they can set the initial program associated with user profile to *none.
