WSDOC jobs are taking longer than expected in the evenings, upwards of 20-30 minutes to complete. Normal completion time is usually several seconds. This was initially happening infrequently but is now occurring almost every day. This problem seems to occur when a number of Doclit jobs are submitted and that it appears to be related to a default number of threads used by the agent for these jobs.
Workload Automation Agent 12.x and 24.x
When all of the threads in the pool are active, new tasks wait in the queue until a thread is available.
Increase the number of threads via the agentparm.txt file update:
webservice.pool.size=20
The agent will need to be stopped/started.
