Issue/Introduction

When configuring an automatic upgrade of Windows-based Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) clients to version 14.3 RU8, a STOP error 0xCE (DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS) occurs after the upgrade, forcing the operating system to reboot.

Environment

  • SEP version prior to upgrade is 14.3 RU8 or earlier

Resolution
