Issue/Introduction

  • Initiating VMware Identity Manager 3.3.7 installation from LCM fails at stage 4 and returns below error:
    Error Code: LCMVIDM73102
    Failed to enable SSH access to the root user.
    Failed to enable ssh access for root user of vIDM. Exception message: Failed to enable root login on the host <HOSTNAME>
  • The "/var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log" contains below entries:
