Error: "error: package VMware-Postgres-osslibs-openssl is not installed"

Issue/Introduction

• Upgrade to 10.6.1.1 process stuck on multiple cells after running: vamicli update --install latest
• The following error can be seen in /opt/vmware/var/log/vami/updatecli.log:
  • error: package VMware-Postgres-osslibs-openssl is not installed
• No other errors are observed in /opt/vmware/var/log/vami/updatecli.log or /opt/vmware/var/log/vcd/update-postgres-db.log

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6

Resolution

If no other errors are observed, we can proceed ONLY if the command "vamicli update --install latest" did not get stuck and the "/opt/vmware/var/log/vami/updatecli.log" shows the following lines at the end of the file which AFTER that error which confirms the upgrade step succeeded:

error: package VMware-Postgres-osslibs-openssl is not installed

Finished installing version 10.6.1.11841
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/timers.target.wants/logrotate.timer → /usr/lib/systemd/system/logrotate.timer.
