Issue/Introduction

An administrator receives the error when trying to detach recovery SDDC : "This SDDC cannot be detached from the UI. It was attached as a recovery SDDC before detachable mounting was implemented. Contact support."

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.27.x

Cause

This because of the new VMC mount API that is not permitting to unmount as the Legacy nasConfig mount API was leveraged earlier.

Resolution

To remediate the issue, contact Broadcom Support with a request to detach recovery SDDC. 

Provide following details 

1) Org ID

2) Recovery SDDC ID that needs to be detached. 

3) Deployment region.
