Issue/Introduction

This article provides steps to archive multiple alerts of different types in VCF Operations for Networks.

Environment

VCF Operations for Networks 6.x

Cause

Sometimes there are huge number of alerts in customer environment which are stale and customer want to clean them, but it would be difficult to click it one by one.

Resolution

1. Navigate to the alert, then click on the three vertical dots located next to it.
2. From the drop down menu, select "Archive."
3. After that, opt for "All alerts of this type" and click "Save."

By doing this, you will successfully archive all alerts of the same category, significantly reducing your workload. Afterward, you can move on to handling alerts of a different type.
