"soitoolbox --encryptPassword" using SOI 4.3 not working

Issue/Introduction

After setting up a SOI 4.3 and using SOItoolbox to encrypt the password for the SOItoolbox credential file, soitoolbox is unable to connect to the database with the generated password. 

Using this password to connect to the SOI database gives the error “Login failed for user 'user'”.
 
Following the same procedure, for soitoolbox 4.2 works as expected 

Environment

SOI 4.3 

 

Cause

Code defect in soitoolbox 4.3 

Resolution

We have fixed the issue while encrypting the password using the command below with SOI 4.3.

soitoolbox.exe --encryptPassword

Please use the updated soitoolbox.exe with the attached zip file and replace the file under the path below:  

CA\SOI\Tools\

 

NOTE: This issue is fixed in SOI 4.3 CU2
