Issue/Introduction
When attempting to view the Machine SSL certificate with a certificate signed by an external Certificate Authority (CA) the vSphere Client shows an error page.

Environment
vCenter 8.0
Cause
This is because there is no certificate in the machine_ssl_cert store.
Validated by running a vCert certificate status check
Resolution
Replaced certifcate with a VMCA signed certificate via vCert option 3 and then option 1
