Issue/Introduction

SRA array pings start failing with errors after upgrading vCenter, SRM & ESXi. 

Changing the DNS names of vCenter, SRM can also trigger these errors. 

Array pings fail with the error -

Environment

VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.x
Pure Storage FlashArray SRA 

Cause

During the execution of SRM upgrades or modifications to the DNS names associated with vCenter or SRM, it is necessary to reconfigure the array manager within SRM using the updated DNS names to restore connectivity between these components.

Resolution

Reboot the SRM appliance and reconfigure the peer array settings; this action should resolve the errors. If the errors persist, contact Pure SRA support for further assistance.
