NSX-T Manager - Edit or Change the Severity of the pre-built alarms

Issue/Introduction

User wants to change Severity field of the pre-built alarms within the NSX Manager appliance to suit their own preference but is not given the option.

Environment

VMware NSX 4.x

Cause

As per design of the NSX Manager appliances software, some alarms are provided pre-made for immediate usage with limited adjustment while new customized alarms can be created / added depending the upon the customer's preference.

Resolution

This is a condition that may occur in a VMware NSX environment.

Create / Edit newly created alarms within NSX Manager appliance user interface using the supplied guidance below;
