Unable to WinSCP in to an NSX Manager

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to log into an NSX Manager with WinSCP using the admin credentials, the log in fails. 

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

NSX admin credentials will not work for a WinSCP session to an NSX Manager. 

Resolution

Ensure the NSX Manager has SSH enabled for root log-in:

1. Log into an SSH session for the NSX Manager using the admin credentials
2. Run the command get service ssh
3. Verify that Root login: shows as enabled. If not, run the command set ssh root-login to enable it. 

Then log into the WinSCP session with root credentials.
