Configuring DHCP during configuration of Security Analytics

Issue/Introduction

Security Analytics is capable of configuring DHCP during the initial configuration. This will configure the IP address, netmask, and gateway for the sensor.

Resolution

1. Setup a laptop to the IP address of 192.168.20.21
2. Join the network of the sensor by connecting a cable between the laptop and the sensor
3. Browse to 192.168.20.20
4. Accept the EULA licensing agreement
5. During IP configuration, select Configure DHCP
6. Complete the remaining configuration with DNS, Date, root and admin password and password strength.
7. Upload the Broadcom license with the .bcl file downloaded from the Broadcom portal
8. The system will reboot with the IP address, netmask, and gateway from the DHCP server.
