ERROR: " No signature found on PAK file" while Installing Management pack

Issue/Introduction

When installing the management pack we will see an error 'No signature found on PAK file'

Environment

VCF Operations 9.X

Cause

By design the "Allow unsigned PAK installation" is disabled.

 

Resolution

Follow the below steps to enable "Allow unsigned PAK installation" in the Admin UI

  • Go to https://<VCF-OPS-FQDN>/admin from the browser.
  • Navigate to Administrator Settings.
  • Under 'Security Settings. Click 'ENABLE UNSIGNED PAK INSTALLATION'
  • After enabling this setting, when you attempt to install the management pack, you should now see an option to ignore PAK file signature verification.
