Issue/Introduction

 When deploying a Workload domain, provisioning halts on error: License application through vCenter failed: Check license validity.

Cause

A number of criteria can result in this message, but one of the more common causes is if the capacity of the license is not sufficient to license all of the hosts in the WLD in question. 

Resolution

Ensure that the license key applied to the workload domain has enough capacity for all hosts in the WLD.
