SDDC Task is stuck at 100% even though the underlying subtask is 100% complete

Issue/Introduction

When updating certificates in SDDC manager, the certificate task is stuck at 100% but when drilling down into the task and viewing the certificates in SDDC and on the appliances you replaced certificates on, the certificates are replaced.

Restarting the operationsmanager service on the SDDC manager has not effect.

Environment

VMware Cloud foundation

SDDC Manager

Cause

This is caused because the certificate cache on the SDDC manager fails to update.

Resolution

Reboot the SDDC manager appliance.
