Unable to process template from multiple contents library

Issue/Introduction

Attempting to select any cluster from within vCenter for the destination deployment yields the error "unable to process template"

Environment

vCenter Server

Cause

The database table named VPX_HOST_VM_CONFIG_OPTION is missing configuration spec values indicating what features are supported by an esxi host for VM compatibility. 

 

vpxd.log will show a similar entry: Deleted VM config options; host monum: 23465, rc: 1  The rc:1 indicates no value was found to validate the host on which to deploy a template.

Resolution

Disconnecting and reconnecting the host in inventory will repopulate the missing configuration values. There are no impacts to running services or virtual machines when doing this.
