VCF-Operations Image Management page fails to load with HTTP 404 - Not Found error.

Issue/Introduction

• Attempting to update an ESX cluster from VCF-Ops > Fleet Management > Lifecycle > VCF Instance and assign the image from the image catalog, a 404 error is displayed.
• Upon clicking the Image Catalog link, the URL is https://<vcf-ops_fqdn>/ui//lcm/image-management and the page attempts to load but results in a HTTP 404 - Not Found error.
  
  

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x

Cause

The VCF Ops image management URL is incomplete

Resolution

This is a known issue in VCF 9.0.1 - Refer Known Issue VCF 9.0.1 Release Notes 

To be fixed in future VCF release.

Workaround

Either of the below workarounds can be applied.

Method 1

1. Directly open the URL https://<vcf-ops_fqdn>/vcf-operations/ui/management/lifecycle.
2. Click on VCF Instances >  {vcf instance name } > Image Management > Select the image

Method 2

1. Log in to VCF Operations.
2. Navigate to Fleet Management > Lifecycle, and select a VCF instance.
3. Navigate to the Image Management tab and import the image.
4. Click Import Image and then click Import from a vCenter or Import from a file.
5. Select the image and click Import.
