Issue/Introduction

After accepting certificate during vCenter integration, it come again and again to accept the certificate.

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs: 8.18.x

Cause

The vCenter root certificate is crucial for Aria Operations for Logs integration because it ensures secure communication, validates the identity of the vCenter server, and prevents connection failures from a certificate trust issue. When the certificate expires or becomes untrusted, Aria Operations for Logs cannot establish a secure connection and will not be able to collect logs or alert the user, which can lead to service outages and a lack of visibility.

Resolution

Action Plan:
1. Import the root certificate in Aria Operations for Logs.
Log in to UI --> Go to Management --> Certificates --> Click ADD NEW CERTIFICATE

2. Try again to add vCenter and test the connection. It will be successful and Save it.
