Issue/Introduction

The subscribed libraries do not sync with the publisher library as the datastore backing the publisher is deleted

Environment

vCenter server 8.x

Cause

The library items (OVF/OVA templates) do not exist as the datastore of the publisher content library is deleted

Resolution

If the library items (OVF/OVA templates) have been downloaded to any of the subscribed libraries, a new local/publisher library can be created using the subscribed library.

Contact Broadcom VCF Support for creating a new local/publisher library using the contents from the Subscribed Library (best effort basis).

Note that the subscribed library cannot be converted to a local or publisher library.
