SSO users are logged out of NSX 9.x after 30 minutes of inactivity even though the http session-timeout has been increased beyond 30 minutes

Issue/Introduction

• When logged in to the NSX UI as an SSO user, you are logged out after 30m minutes of inactivity.
• You  have increased the default session timeout to a value beyond 30 minutes, per the instructions in the Security section of NSX Manager.
• When logged in as the local admin user, the increased session timeout value is honored.

Environment

VMware NSX 9.x.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware NSX 9.x. There is currently no resolution. 

To workaround this issue, login in as the local admin user.
