Issue/Introduction

Is there a batch process to delete thousands of old DSF records from Bundl?

Resolution

Unfortunately, Bundl does not provide a utility for deleting DSF records. 

 Alternatively (although this is not recommended), it is possible to MANUALLY EDIT the DPMFDSF file using a VSAM file editing product such as File Master or File Aid. Considering this, one theory might be to take a "copy" of the DSF file offline, edit the copied file and remove the unwanted DSF records, then do a delete/define/repro of the edited file back over to the target Bundl system.
