Credential Guard does not work on Windows 2022

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Credential Guard does not work, sktool from Microsoft reports as following
  

  LasIso trustlet running:1 (Credential Guard: 0 - Key Guard:0 )
  Credential Guard has failed to initialize due to: Unkown

• No issue on Windows 2025, sktool from Microsoft reports as following
  

  
  LasIso trustlet running:1 (Credential Guard: 1 - Key Guard:1 )

Resolution

Please follow Activate or Deactivate Virtualization-based Security on an Existing VM in the VMware Host Client to check virtual machine's hardware versions. If no hardware version issue, please contact Microsoft support to check.
