This article explains how to find out which vvol object ID is used for a virtual machine's disk.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.x

Resolution

Check vmdk file (####.vmdk) under virutal machine folder (/vmfs/volumes/<vvol datastore name>/<virtual machine name>) in ESXi host.

i.e.
contents of ####.vmdk file.
