Issue:
I am unable to launch the iDash Admin Tool. I receive the following error:
java.sql.SQLException:ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied or account locked messages
Environment:
All Releases of iDash
Cause:
The iDash application cannot make connection to primary database due to invalid username or password.
Resolution:
Once you click 'OK' on the message, it will take you to the primary connection tab for the iDash database configuration for you to update your username and password. Verify with your DBA that the account is not locked and that you have the correct account information - then enter it into the fields. Once you have validated the connection, close out the Admin Tool and reopen it. You should be able to login to the Admin Tool.
