Issue/Introduction

This article introduce how to identify which pCPU core a vCPU is allocated to.

Resolution

  1. Open a SSH session to ESXi.
  2. Execute command.
    sched-stats -t cpu  | grep vcpu
  3. From the column "name", the VM name and vCPU number will be found. The corresponding pCPU number is at "cpu" column.
