After a successful Jaspersoft installation on Windows, Jaspersoft fails to start with the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
Release: CABI 6.x installed on Windows
This issue occurs when WinZip is used to extract the Jaspersoft installation files. For some reason WinZip extracts all of the files to the top level. Which does not impede the installation. The installation completes successfully. But starting Jaspersoft fails and produces the java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.
7-Zip and WinRAR have been tested in house and they both extract the installation files correctly. Which allows Jaspersoft to start after a successful installation.
