Error seen when viewing cluster in NSX Manager UI indicating Failed to send the HostConfig message

Issue/Introduction

The following error may be seen within the NSX Manager UI when viewing System > Hosts > Clusters 

Transport Node Errors Host configuration: Failed to send the HostConfig message. [TN=TransportNode/########-####-####-####-############]. Reason: Failed to send HostConfig RPC to MPA TN:########-####-####-####-############. Error: Unable to reach client ########-####-####-####-############, application SwitchingVertical.) 

When you view the Certificates you also see expiring certificates

Resolution

In order to resolve the above error message you can leverage the Using Certificate Analyzer, Results and Recovery (CARR) Script to fix certificate related issues in NSX KB.  After this the above error message should be resolved. 

If persists please open a Support Request with Broadcom and attach the NSX Manager Log bundles.
