Protected capacity in VLCR showing incorrect data

Issue/Introduction
An administrator deleted protected VMs however the protected VMs shows correct data (there is a dip), however Protected capacity not showing any difference.
Environment
VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.27.6
Cause
Frequent execution of “Test Failovers” for “Recovery Plans” is generating unnecessary da-vmc-* snapshots, leading to increased space consumption.
Resolution
A manual script clean-up was performed by engineering team once we confirmed excess adhoc snaps, which significantly reduced the space usage. The upcoming v28 release includes a permanent fix so that da-vmc-* snapshots are not taken for Test Failovers.
Additional Information
Customers may continue running “Test Failovers” if required for DR or audit purposes. Until v28 is available, we will proactively perform clean-up after test failovers to help manage space usage effectively.
