IGA Xpress

1.  Download and extract IGA Xpress (igaxpress-<version>.tar.gz) on ALL the cluster nodes.  For this example they were placed in /home/igx/

>tar -xzvf igaxpress-<version>.tar.gz

2.  In a terminal, run the install script from the IGA Xpress extract location as root.

>sudo <Extract_Path>/install

 

 

Deployed Services Applications

Remote Channel -  If configured to use the Remote Channel, the available Updates are automatically displayed on the Updates Tab. 

Local Channel  -  If configured to use the Local Channel the available Updates will need to be downloaded and added to the Local Channel by the IGA administrator.   


1.  Download the patch from the documentation link, and unzip.

2.  Locate the local channel package (iga-suite-<version>-localchan.tar.gz) and copy to the Primary IGX deployment node. 

3.  Update the local channel files:
The setup_localchan command should be run logged in as the igx user.

>setup_localchan <download_path>/iga-suite-<version>-localchan.tar.gz

 

 

The update should now be available to be Deployed from the Updates tab of the IGX browser interface.

 

DEPLOY Service Application Updates:

1.  Select the Fixpack, ServicePack, or Releases to be applied and click Deploy:

2.  Review and verify the selected Update(s) on the Dry Run screen, once satisfied click the "Update" button: 

3.  Leave "This Node Only" unchecked unless you are doing manual patching in a rolling manner to limit downtime.
Clicking Proceed will restart the cluster

Remote components

1.  Download the patch from the documentation link, extract the remote component fix and copy to the Remote component server.

2.  Review the readme included in the zip for specific directions. 

3.  Run setup.exe to apply the patch to the Remote component. 

 

 

Mogrify

If a new version of Mogrify is included with an Update that should be used instead of the original.
