When adding a vCenter data source to Aria Operations for Networks environment, you may receive the error "VMware vCenter: Hostname/IP is unreachable" despite one or more of the following:
You see the following error in the restapilayer logs: "Error while checking if VC with vcLicenseInfo:" {redacted}) "is not supported by vRNI."
Note: restapilayer logs can be found on the platform node in /var/log/arkin/restapilayer/restapilayer.STDOUT-<yyyy>-<mm>-<dd>-<dd>.<nn>.<ss>.log
