  • Network uplink redundancy lost alert is not getting cleared on the vCenter Server once the network is up

Environment

ESXi 8.x

Cause

When a vmnic status restores from **down** and experiences a quick status flapping sequence (**up → down → up**), the last **up** event is deduplicated when trying to enqueue two consecutive **up** events.

This results in an **unclear down alarm**.

Resolution

This will be resolved in an upcoming patch release
