Issue/Introduction

Multiple T-1 gateways are configured with same edge cluster

Service interface is being configured on 2 of these T-1 gateways connecting to 2 segments with same vLAN id. 

First T-1 gateway service interface is in Success state while, below error is observed when connecting the service interface of the second T-1 gateway to the same vLAN id segment.

Environment

VMware NSX 

Cause

  • This is an expected behavior.
  • Same vlan id cannot be configured on 2 different T-1 gateways attached with same Edge node cluster.

Resolution

  • Fix the overlapping configuration.
                          OR 
  • Configure the second T-1 gateway with a different edge cluster.
