vCenter Server action after NSX certificate replacement

Issue/Introduction

This document explains whether any vCenter Server action is required after renewing NSX certificates.

Environment

NSX 4.1.2

vCenter Server 7.0 / 8.0

Resolution

After NSX certificates replacement, no additional action is required on the vCenter Server side to make it recognize the new NSX certificate.

Note: After replacing the vCenter Server certificate, it is necessary to make NSX Manager recognize the new vCenter Server certificate by following the procedure described in the “Resolution” section of KB 323341.
