VMware NSX

Issue/Introduction

  • While configuring NAT within NSX, there is a need to match many IPs for either the Source IP or Destination IP match fields.
  • The input field indicates an IP Address List can be used.

Environment

  • VMware NSX-T Data Center
  • VMware NSX

Resolution

  • The IP Address List is not a separate NSX object.
  • The only permissible input to the Source or Destination IP match fields is: a CIDR, or an individual IP, or a comma separated list of IPs.
  • The "IP Address List" is the comma separated list of IPs.
  • The input options cannot be combined.  They are mutually exclusive.
