Issue/Introduction

Issue while attempting to download patch, upgrade, or install binaries for components in VCF Fleet Management. The process fails with the following error:

Error Code: LCMCOMMON92001
LCMCOMMON92001
Exception encountered when downloading the binary

Error in the /var/log/vrlcm.log file as:

ERROR vrlcm[1236] [pool-3-thread-6] [c.v.v.l.b.s.u.UnifiedManifestUtility]  -- One or more selected files checksums does not match with any product versions supported by VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle: [/data/<path>/<path>/<component>/<component>.upgrade.bundle]

Cause

This issue usually arises when the checksum of the downloaded bundle file doesn't align with any of the supported product versions recognized by VCF Fleet Manager, indicating an incompatibility between the bundle and the version of VCF Fleet Manager in use.

Resolution

Perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

• Apply the latest patch to VCF Fleet Management.
• After successfully applying the latest patch, retry downloading the upgrade or patch binaries.
• The issue should now be resolved, and downloads should proceed without checksum errors.
