Encryption Manager fails to fetch all Virtual Data Center, Organization, or policies accurately

Issue/Introduction

• Encryption Manager (BYOK) fails to accurately fetch all Virtual Data Center(VDC), Organization(Orgs), or policies.
• Records added or deleted can appear again on a second results page.
• The ordering of results have inconsistencies.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director Encryption Management 1.2.1

Cause

This issue occurs due to a pagination problem when there are more than 128 VDC, Orgs or policies. As a consequence of pagination, when records are added or deleted, there's a chance that data from the first page may appear again on the second page because of ordering inconsistencies.

Resolution

This is a known issue with Encryption Management 1.2.1. 

To workaround this issue reduce the number of VDC, Orgs or policies to 127.
