"There are expired or expiring licenses in your inventory" warning message in vCenter UI in an environment with VSAN Cluster

Issue/Introduction

There are no Licenses in expiring or expired in the vCenter UI License Management Page

vSAN is licensed under VVF with an evaluation license is set to expire in 50 years.

Environment

vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3g and lower.

Cause

This is a known cosmetic issue with no functional impact to the vCenter with VVF License where VSAN is Licensed with an evaluation License with 50 years validity.

Resolution

VMware is working to fix this issue and the resolution will be available in the upcoming release.
