NSX Upgrade Pre-checks fail with a warning "Group member ########-####-####-####-############ of service HTTP is down"

Issue/Introduction

• The Group member reported in the warning do not appear in the output of get nodes when run as admin on a NSX Manager CLI.
• /var/log/syslog on NSX Manager reports messages like:
  • [nsx@6876 comp="nsx-manager" level="WARNING" subcomp="site-manager"] GMLE members isn't equal to /cluster/nodes members. GMLE members: [########-####-####-####-############, ########-####-####-####-############, ########-####-####-####-############, ########-####-####-####-############]; proton members: [########-####-####-####-############, ########-####-####-####-############, ########-####-####-####-############]

Cause

Stale Edge Node entries exist in the NSX Corfu Database

Resolution

Follow the resolution in Cleanup Stale Edge Nodes present in the NSX-T UI from the Corfu database.
