Issue/Introduction

• vCenter deployment fails with error:
  
  Task failed on server: The 'support4KN' feature is not supported on this VM's hardware version’ on ESXi host which use 4kn disk.



Environment

VMware vCenter Server 9.x
VMware vCenter Server 8.x

Cause

The installation is attempted in a 4kn disk or a virtual disk behind a controller that have a block size of 4096B

Resolution

As a workaround reformat 4kn disk to 512e format and reinstall ESXi
