Issue/Introduction

Error ReinstallationResourcesUtility returned exit code -1 occurs on install of DLP 25.1

Environment

DLP 25.1

Cause

ReinstallationResourcesUtility was deprecated in DLP 16.1 and replaced with Enforce Server Live Backup.

 

Resolution

1. Enable live backup on the active node: Enforce Server Live Backup
2. Restart MonitorController service
   This will create a new version of the Reinstallation resources file at this location: $VONTU_DATA_PATH$/enforce_reinstallation.
3. Use this new file when installing the passive node.
